LIFE EXPERIENCES HAVE SHAPED YOUR FEELINGS, THOUGHTS, AND BEHAVIORS. LET’S WORK TOGETHER TO UNDERSTAND THEM WITH GREATER COMPASSION, SO YOU CAN FEEL MORE AT PEACE AND FIND MORE JOY IN YOUR RELATIONSHIPS.
I began my journey to becoming a therapist through my own personal experience in therapy, where I started to understand how many of the struggles I’d been living with developed to protect me from painful parts of my life. I learned that I was not broken, and that with greater awareness, my inner world could feel more at peace.
Living through a lengthy faith transition with my husband and children, I navigated shifting beliefs from all sides. This deepened my empathy for others working through religious trauma and changing identities. I am an LGBTQ+ ally and will fiercely defend the right for every person to explore and embrace who they really are.
I want to sit with you as we uncover the inner world that has shaped who you are. Together, we can work to make sense of the things that might be protecting you and help those parts finally begin to rest.

THE PARTS OF YOU THAT HAVE BEEN WORKING SO HARD TO PROTECT YOU DESERVE UNDERSTANDING, NOT JUDGMENT.
My goal is for you to feel safe and comfortable enough to be open and honest without worrying about saying the “right” thing in therapy. We can be curious together about anything you bring into our sessions.
I have experienced faith transition from multiple perspectives, so I understand how painful and complicated changes in belief can be for individuals and families. You have the right to question beliefs, traditions, and systems that have caused harm. Religious trauma is real, and your experience deserves compassion and respect.
Many in the LGBTQ+ community have spent years feeling they needed to defend or explain who they are. You deserve a space where you can be fully yourself and where the parts of you that have worked so hard to protect you can begin to rest.
When we understand why certain thoughts, feelings, or behaviors developed, we can relate to them with more compassion. I believe that kind of connection can bring more peace and help turn down the volume on mental and emotional struggles that cause so much pain.
