IF YOU ARE FEELING AT A LOSS WITHIN YOUR RELATIONSHIPS, FAITH, CAREER, OR OTHER PARTS OF LIFE, WE CAN EXPLORE TOGETHER WHAT IS KEEPING YOU STUCK. THERE IS POWER IN HAVING YOUR EXPERIENCES WITNESSED EMPATHETICALLY, DISCOVERING NEW PERSPECTIVES, AND LEARNING SKILLS TO CREATE A LIFE AUTHENTIC TO YOU.

As a therapist, I am warm, grounded, and patient. I listen closely, with curiosity and kindness. I prioritize providing a safe space in which we can work collaboratively to explore what is brought into the room. I believe that it is a stable, judgement-free zone that one can reach the vulnerability necessary for healing and achieving one’s best self.

Rooted in trauma-informed, social justice, and holistic perspectives, I am passionate about supporting individuals in figuring out how to get “unstuck”, navigate challenging relationships and life transitions, learn how to be present in both mind and body, and grow into the most authentic version of themselves. I believe that self-awareness and self-compassion can bring about accountability and change. I believe we can all learn to care for ourselves and communicate with loved ones in ways that improve our relationships and well-being, and it is an honor to facilitate this work. I am BIPOC and LGBTQ+ affirming and am committed to ongoing learning from from my clients about truth of their own lived experience.

The best gift you can give yourself is allowing your inner wisdom to be heard and your growth to be witnessed.

Years ago, I began my own therapy journey when I was in a very stuck place in my life. The work I did and continue to do in therapy changed my life and helped me get unstuck. It is inspirational to be able to support others in processing trauma, improving relationships with themselves and others, learning coping skills, and fostering a new sense of hope and authenticity in their lives. Working together with clients on their individual challenges is truly an honor.

I have compassion for how all-encompassing and devastating faith related concerns can be and I understand that each person’s faith journey is unique to them. When supporting those going through faith related concerns, I take time to allow you to process, explore personal values and experiences surrounding faith and religion, and make sense of what is happening for you in a non-judgmental space. There is no right or wrong way to go through this experience and I am supportive no matter your choices to continue in your faith or transition in some way.

I use a variety of modalities to support clients in working through and processing trauma, including EMDR. The most important part of this work is making sure we build a trusting and safe relationship and go at a pace that feels manageable to you individually.

Therapy is all about relationships. In our work together, we will use different modalities to help you better understand yourself so that you can be a better version of you and have healthier and more rewarding relationships with others. Therapy is all about helping relationships, including the one you have with yourself. In couple’s therapy, I work with partners using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to improve relationships by strengthening emotional bonds and communication.
